Doctor On Demand’s Chief Executive Officer, Adam Jackson spoke at the 2014 Kaiser Permanente IT Summit today about changing the face of healthcare.
“Our goal is to facilitate great care and quality interactions with patients,” explained Adam Jackson,” CEO of Doctor On Demand. “Patients appreciate the attentiveness, focus, and care given by Doctor on Demand Physicians.” From Adam’s perspective, few companies and institutions in the healthcare space focus on providing a great consumer experience. Doctor On Demand is an example of a company trying to make healthcare more consumer-centric.
The Kaiser Permanente IT Summit is a forum for leaders in the healthcare industry to discuss the most pressing healthcare issues of our time and acknowledge the key players in the healthcare space. David Pogue, the former NY Times Technology Columnist, gave a keynote speech about how technology is progressively becoming increasingly consumer friendly.
The panel included Scott Matthews of Castlight Health, Doctor on Demand’s newest partner. Also in attendance was Ron Gutman of HealthTap, and John Adractas of Simplee.

Doctor on Demand has most recently announced that its Video Visits with board-certified physicians are now available through Castlight’s Enterprise Healthcare Cloud to employers that work with both companies. “One of my colleagues used Doctor on Demand and saw a doctor in just 3 minutes,” said Scott Matthews of Castlight Health at the 2014 IT Summit.
